SUPER agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly been primed by Real Madrid to make a move for David De Gea.

And United’s intention to increase De Gea’s current £200,000 a week deal would make at Old Trafford make the situation similar to the issue around Paul Pogba last summer, where Real were gazumped by United’s superior salary offer.
Real missed out on Pogba as United committed to paying the midfielder top dollar – and the Red Devils could keep their transfer rivals at bay by making the offer of a better pay packet.
Real’s wage structure centres mainly around Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Ballon d’Or winner courting the highest wages in the world.
And despite not having the best goalkeeper in the world, Real have still made it to their seventh consecutive Champions League semi-final where they will face cross-town rivals Atletico, who they have faced in the 2016 and 2014 finals.
Keylor Navas was hailed for his heroics in Real’s defeat to Barcelona in El Clasico as Lionel Messi scored an unstoppable last-minute winner after Sergio Ramos’ red card.
Real have also been linked several times with a move for Thibaut Courtois. But his recent break-up with pregnant Marta Dominguez, who lives in Spain, has given Chelsea fresh hope that the Belgian keeper will be happy to stay in London beyond the summer.
United, meanwhile, have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak.
