
Romelu Lukaku has changed his permanent address to ‘Dejan Lovren’s pocket’ after moving out of his house earlier today.
Fans expected to see Everton’s hulking forward feature in the Merseyside derby at Anfield but instead the Belgium international spent the afternoon making himself at home in Lovren’s pocket.
Lee Satchell, a friend of the Liverpool defender, said: “It was really weird actually, Dejan went to change his jeans just now and he started to empty his pockets, like you do.
“After taking out his phone and wallet, he found Lukaku in there. Just nestled in between his keys and some loose change.
“He looked pretty comfortable and we could tell there was no getting him out of there for some time.”
The change of residence comes during a stressful week for Lukaku in which he was diagnosed with a rare phobia.
The 23-year-old suffers badly from’ biggamephobia’, a crippling fear of big games.
A close friend of Lukaku’s said: “It’s not a laughing matter, Romelu is terrified of big games.
“Some people hate spiders, others can’t stand small spaces, but not Romelu. Show him a half-decent centre-back and he turns to jelly.”
“Watford at home, fine. Swansea away, no problem. But a Merseyside derby at Anfield? No chance…”
Lukaku’s recent change of residence may not last long however with Everton set to play Man United at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
