FIFA experiments have been around for as long as the games themselves.
YouTuber DTT, renowned for his whacky FIFA experiments, has really outdone himself this time.
He spent five hours in a penalty shootout netting every single shot until each team had scored 1000 goals…
After each team has scored about 40 goals each the game starts to take a hit graphically, with the boxes in the top left turning from green to red despite the fact that no penalties had been missed.
Some of the boxes also disappeared, however, the game seemed to be able to handle players taking the game to levels where, in a normal game, controllers would have been smashed around the 15th goal.
Finally, DTT got to the 1000th goal and… there isn’t much to see.
Apart from the fact that EA never anticipated a game being taken to this level, it runs fairly smoothly and the 1000 goals in the top left corner of the screen fit easily into the penalty bar.
We didn’t realise people had this much free time! Let’s go for 10,000 goals next!
