FIFA 19: This is what happens when you get to the very end of Career Mode

EA gives you a fitting send off

For many of us, completing Career Mode is too big a challenge.

Countless days and nights rejigging your team, battling with agents, the board… there’s too much to keep track of.

But what happens if you do manage to see it through – and serve as a manager until you retire?

Well, YouTuber TheMasterBucks did exactly that – and played through until 2033, the last possible season you can take part in (in case you’re wondering, you can play 15 seasons max).

EA only let you a maximum of 15 seasons – with the last one being 2032

Let’s have a look at how the teams are lining up.

As you can expect, nearly every current player is no longer active – with many teams now consisting of made-up stars.

However, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford  is still going strong – at 35 years old.

Elsewhere, Ousmane Demeble, currently one of Barcelona’s brightest stars, is at the tail-end of career at 36.

But what happens to you… the manager?

At the very end of Career Mode, you receive an email from the board, titled: ‘Your Retirement’.

In it, the board wish you well and congratulate you on your hard work.

They write: “We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours and will make sure that there’s always a seat reserved for you.”

Pretty heart-warming, if you ask us.

You’re also given a comprehensive review of every season you ever played in. Incredible.
