BUNK UP

Fortnite Season 6: The mystery behind the bunker in Wailing Woods could reveal the next theme

The bunker has been dormant for a long time now but is about to about it

The mysterious bunker has been in the game since the end of Season 4.

It hasn’t really done much other than rouse player’s suspicions, spawn a load of crazy conspiracy theories and sit in Wailing Woods waiting for its time to open up.

Well, the time has finally come.

What is coming out of the bunker is not, however, what you would expect.

According to Fortnite leakers, a person will come out of the bunker and build a chicken restaurant to compete with the current ‘Durr Burger’ chain that the skin from Season 5 is based on.

It is believed that throughout Season 6 The chicken restaurant will expand into an amusement park that will eventually overtake Wailing Woods.

Other restaurant chains will also pop up around the map, with mascot skins being released so players can support their favourite location.

A lot of players are convinced that this will be the new theme of the season but with the ominous tones the cube is giving off, it would be comical for the next season to revolve around fast-food joints, wouldn’t it?

The final competitive event of Season 5 came recently came to a close

The Summer Skirmish event went on for 8 weeks with some of the most recognisable faces in the game making an appearance, as well as a number of players who had performed well in the ‘Summer Showdown’ which was open to the public.

Around 800,000 people watched the tournament live, as the Fortnite pros fought it out for a stake in the $1.5million prize pool.

Earlier in the year, Epic Games announced they would be pledging $100,000,000 in prize money for competitive Fortnite.

Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop, one of the castors for the event, was quick to remind everyone just how much money was up for grabs in Season 6 of Fortnite.

With only a few weeks left until the start of Season 6 and only three months until the end of 2018…

We should see plenty of big money competitions in the next few months.
