Levelling up, slaying zombies and obliterating other players.
Dying Light is best known for its zombie-filled open-world gameplay, where players can traverse the cityscape alone or with friends using parkour.
Capitalising on the hype for battle royale game modes, developer Techland have taken the core game mechanics that made Dying Light so unique and put them into a 12 man free-for-all bloodbath, aptly named ‘Dying Light: Bad Blood’.
Gameplay revealed at Gamescom shows players spawning into a small city-based location, having to search for loot and then destroying ‘zombie hives’.
Obviously, as with all zombie games, nothing is so simple.
Hordes of different breeds of zombies consistently attack you making your life as difficult as possible.
With the added element of battle royale, other players are looking to destroy hives and take you out by any means possible.

Dying Light: Bad Blood will arrive on Steam in early access in September.
Console gamers shouldn’t have to worry though, as the game will be released on console FOR FREE soon afterwards.
