EA Sports has rewarded 18 players who have shone at the World Cup with boosted Ultimate Team cards – and they’re utterly insane.
The Festival of Football cards, which mark the top players in the last 16 stage of the competition, see a number of stars rewarded for brilliant real-world form.
However, there’s one card that shines brightest.
Take a bow, Luis Suarez, who with his 99-rated card makes him the pick of the bunch.
The ridiculous card is stacked with 94 pace, 99 dribbling, 99 shooting, 97 passing and 96 physicality.
It also boasts four-star skills and weakfoot.
In fact, Lionel Messi’s top card is only rated 98 – so it would seem EA rates the Uruguay star higher.
A closer look at the stats reveals that Suarez trumps Messi in everything bar passing and pace.
In fact, in a controversial move from EA, they’re rated Suarez a better dribbler – his 99 beating Messi’s 98.
England hero Kieran Trippier is another star to get a boost – his 88-rated card boasting 87 pace, 87 dribbling, 73 shooting, 88 defending, 93 passing and 84 physicality. Neymar, Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe also make cut.
