When we think of the fastest players in the world, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mo Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spring to mind.
But thanks to the brand new FIFA 18 Festival of Football cards, there’s a new speed demon on the block – and it’s not who you would expect.
FIFA 19 Standard and Champions Editions are available to pre-order from GAME and Amazon
Mexico’s Hirving Lozano is now the game’s fastest player – boasting an eye-watering 99 acceleration and 99 sprint speed.
The Festival of Football squad contains the best players from the first round of the World Cup.
These players are awarded special Ultimate Team cards containing some massive upgrades.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest card isn’t his best, but his stats aren’t anything to turn your nose up at.
In fact, with 95 pace, 96 dribbling, 98 shooting, 91 passing, and 91 physical – he’s only slightly worse than his Team of the Season card.
Elsewhere, England hero Harry Kane, who scored both goals in the Three Lions’ struggle against Tunisia, gets boosted to a 94 rated card.
The Spurs talisman boasts 82 pace, 91 dribbling, 97 shooting, 87 passing, and 91 physical.
We can’t wait to give these lot a run out.
Be quick, though… they’re only around for another few days.
