When you think of five-star skillers on FIFA 18, the usual names come to mind.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Ricardo Quaresma – all players you associate with being able to pull off the most complicated moves on the game.
But look a little closer and there’s a 63-rated bronze card who’s part of the five-star club, too. And chances are you’ve never heard of him.
Edison Flores is a winger who plays for Aalborg BK in the Danish Alka Superliga.
The 23-year-old is rated at 63, making him one of the worst players on the game. However, EA seems to think he’s more skillful than Leo Messi (who only has a four-star rating).
The same Messi who ran rings around half the Real Betis team last weekend.
Let’s have a closer look at Flores’ stats.
The youngster is far from fast, with a 64 speed rating and 70 score for acceleration.
You wouldn’t trust him in front of goal, either – with 44 shot power and a weak 67 for finishing.
In fact, it’s only in agility, balance and jumping where the Peruvian scores respectable scores.
So, where does the five star score come from?
In real life, Flores is known for being exceptionally good with his feet and seen as the next big thing for his country.
He enjoys driving the team forward with the ball, and cleverly finds pockets of space to break down tough defences.
Now here’s the best bit – his card costs just 200 coins on FIFA. Making him an absolute steal.
Who knows, maybe those skill moves could come in handy one day?
