FIFA 18: There’s one very notable omission from the 20 fastest players this year

FIFA 16's quickest player is nowhere to be seen

EA SPORTS has revealed who the 20 fastest players are in FIFA 18 – and there’s one very big name missing.

Theo Walcott.

The Arsenal man, 28, is nowhere to be seen after he topped the list in FIFA 16.

Since then, he’s crashed out of the top 20, despite being known for his rapid pace and agility.

Even with his 93 pace score in last year’s game, the Gunner is nowhere to be seen this year

This year, Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang nabs the top spot, with Sparta Prague Jonathan Biabiany coming in second place.

Arsenal speedster Hector Bellerin comes in third, with Greuther Fürth midfielder Mathis Bolly – who’s consistently amongst the world’s fastest – coming fourth.

Remember, if you’re not too sure whether to pick up the game, be sure to try out the FIFA 18 demo.

Sadly, there will be NO Switch demo – so Nintendo fans will have to wait a little longer.

Given its focus on online play, EA may be holding off the trial until the servers are up to speed.
