The wait is almost over.
FIFA 18 is a little over a month away from its global release, and the anticipation is hotting up.
And just to tease us and keep gamers excited ahead of the game coming out, EA Sports have continued to dish out more details about what might feature on the new game.
The game’s maker released a new trailer as part of Gamescom in Germany on Monday evening, and there were two major additions to the game that haven’t featured in previous editions.
Check out the official new trailer below.
Firstly, they’ve gone big on Neymar moving to Paris Saint-Germain.
Whilst this might seem obvious, the key thing to note is how quickly they’ve implemented the Brazilian as a major figure in the game, now that he’s playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcelona are the main partner of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer, so the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi were somewhat overlooked in the last 12 months by EA Sports.
However, now that Neymar is a PSG player, they’ve wasted no time in putting him front and centre of their latest trailer. Smart move, EA.
The second major addition to the game is the trailer seemingly suggesting that the new edition will include Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous ‘thinking man’ celebration.
CR7 hit the headlines last November with his goal celebration against Atletico Madrid, and EA Sports have featured the Real Madrid superstar performing it in the trailer.
Will it be included in the game? It certainly looks like it.
