FIFA 18 developers have added an incredible new feature – guaranteed to come in handy for Ultimate Team.
Cards now reveal details of the player’s full stats – clearly laid out, Futhead style.
It’s not known whether there will be a player comparison tool, but given the way the information is laid out, it certainly seems likely.
Regardless, fans took to the FIFA sub-reddit to throw praise at EA for including the feature.
One wrote: “About ******* time. Finally.” Another said: “Very nice touch to the game. GG EA.”
Earlier in the week, FIFA 18 Career Mode footage found its way online – and it’s looking absolutely spectacular.
The short clip shows a complete overhaul of the popular mode in FIFA 18, which now includes The Journey-style player choice and dialogue.
One of the biggest changes is the addition of interactive transfer negotiations.
This allows you to take part in real-time transfer negotiations with other club reps and agents.
The entire mode has been a visual overhaul – with screens showing off new player signings.
The changes come after thousands of fans pleaded with EA to give the mode some more attention after it fell by the wayside in FIFA 17.
“Ordinary we don’t announce much about Ultimate Team around this time because we’re in the run up to Gamescom – that’s our big FUT showcase,” FIFA 18 producer Matt Prior said.
Gamescom is Europe’s largest gaming convention and takes place between August 22-26.
