FIFA 17: Could a team of this season’s flops win the Premier League?

Claudio Bravo and co. definitely have their work cut out

While the likes of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career – others weren’t as fortunate.

Claudio Bravo has had a torrid time between the sticks for Manchester City, while Wayne Rooney has seen better days at Manchester United.

But what would happen if you put them all in the same team?

Would they band together and start performing? Or would Mesut Ozil go missing again?

(Yes, we know Ozil’s had a few standout games – but he’s definitely not as good as he could have been).

At the half way point of the season, Sunderland lie in seventh – just two points behind Liverpool and Chelsea.

They’ve won eight games, draw five and lost six – conceding 20 goals.

Can they keep up the momentum until the end of the season?

By the end of the season, Sunderland finish a respectable fifth – beating current Premier League champions Chelsea

Yes and no.

The team of flops finish in fifth place – ahead of the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.

None of the team make it on the top scorers list, though… or the most assists for that matter.

Mesut Ozil bagged four assists, followed by Jack Wilshire with three.

So, there you have it.

A team of flops actually do a lot better than you’d think.
