Wallyson may not be a global football superstar, but on FIFA the Brazilian is somewhat of a legend.
Back in FIFA 11, he was the proud owner of a 48-rated bronze card – which, on paper, made him one of the lowest-rated forwards in the game.
But look a little closer and all is not what it seems. Amongst his 33 pace and 36 dribbling ability lies an incredible 84 score for shooting.
This effectively made him unstoppable from nearly any range.
So, how did this happen?
Rumours have it that years ago the relationship between EA and YouTubers was at its strongest.
Wallyson was one of the most popular players at the time and had just scored a hat-trick for Brazilian side Cruzeiro.
So, the YouTube community was shocked when he didn’t appear in the FIFA Team of The Week.
They complained to EA demanding why he hadn’t been included, which prompted the developer to release this 48-rated card as a ‘troll’.
Only, to everyone’s delight his in-game stats were actually amazing.
They included the likes of a 99-rated shot, a 90 score for long shots and 82 sprint speed.
Wallyson’s meant to be doing pretty well for Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, but hasn’t appeared on a FIFA game since FIFA 14.
He’s still just 29 years old, though – so he may yet make a comeback.
