There’s nothing worse than waiting for one of the CPU-controlled players to make a run on FIFA 17.
But YouTuber BorasLegend has revealed how to make CPU guesswork a thing of the past.
In fact, with a few button presses you can have players making runs at your whim.
There are two types of CPU command – ordering your players to come towards the ball or directing them to make a run towards goal.
And the good news is that they’re incredibly simple to pull off.
To make a player make an incisive run – you need to continually click the L1 / LB button and use the left stick.
Do not hold the button down as the player will not run.
Remember to point the left analogue stick in the direction of the player you want to make a run.
More advanced players may want to try doing a quick one-two pass.
By holding down L1 / LB and pressing pass, the player in possession will run into space after passing the ball.
It’s perfect when close to the opponent’s goal against a high-defensive line.
Getting players to run to the ball
To make a player run for the ball – it’s exactly the same technique, but you instead press R1 / RB.
Just make sure you are facing the player you want to approach the ball.
It’s ideal to use if you’re looking for more attacking options, or being closed down by an aggressive defence.
Now go and give them both a go!
