Ever find yourself cracking under pressure in high-stakes games of FIFA? Then it’s time to change your perspective and adjust the camera settings.
Tinkering with the height and zoom can dramatically affect your success in the game.
While the ‘Default’ camera is relatively close to the action – by opting for ‘Co-op’ and adjusting the zoom, you’ll be able to see the whole pitch and stop players being caught out of position.
As Reddit user and FIFA player GolduckAF explains: ” I can’t express how much this has changed my game.
“I personally changed them to “Co-op” and set “Camera Zoom” to 0 and “Camera Height” to 20 (in FIFA 17). This is the furthest out the camera can be. It’s actually insane how much it helps.
“You can see every player on the pitch, you can see the formation in real time.
“Defending became ridiculously easy as I could easily switch between players and see runs my opponent was making so much more clearly.
“And because the camera was so much further out, the field didn’t look or feel as congested, and I could make far more intelligent passes and felt way less pressure on and off the ball.”
He added: “I’m now constantly winning Div 1 after this simple change. Don’t know why I didn’t do it earlier.”
Other users a mix of 15 height and 3 zoom works wonders, too – it just comes down to personal preference.
It’s not the first time camera settings have had a huge impact on the game.
One gamer wrote: “I can also vouch for this. Did it in FIFA 16 and it honestly felt like a different game.
“The default camera is far too angled and close to the pitch. Great for people who don’t have that knack for constantly scanning the map and seeing where their players are.”
Give it a go – it could instantly make you a better FIFA 18 player.
