Last week, out of curiosity, we calculated how many Dream Team points Erling Haaland would have amassed this season.
We figured out that only Harry Kane (£7.0m) would have had a superior tally (as of last week) to that of the Norwegian wonderkid.
It’s since become clear that anyone even remotely involved in football is obligated to mention Kylian Mbappe in any conversation about Haaland, and vice versa.
So we’ve whipped out the calculator again to work out how many points PSG’s superstar would have racked up this season if the Ligue 1 club were eligible.

Fittingly, barely anything separates the two much-lauded youngsters.
Mbappe would have amassed 210 points at the same point Haaland had 212 last week.
The Frenchman has scored 21 goals and provided nine assists in games equivalent to those included in Dream Team.
Similarly to Haaland, Mbappe doesn’t have as any many hypothetical Star Man awards as you might expect.
According to our ratings providers WhoScored, the 22-year-old has achieved the highest rating in six PSG games so far in 2020/21.
One of the reasons for this is because he usually shares a pitch with Neymar, who consistently produces highly-rated performances himself.
In fact, the Brazilian is the only player with a higher average rating than Mbappe in Ligue 1 this campaign.
Just three players have a higher average rating than the Frenchman in the Champions League: Christian Romero, Haaland and Lionel Messi.
210 points would have made Mbappe the second-best player in Dream Team last week, narrowly behind Harry Kane (£7.0m).
Bruno Fernandes (£5.5m) has since stormed into the overall lead but it goes without saying the PSG forward would be one of the most popular players in the game if available.
We’ll start mulling over Mbappe’s starting price… just in case.
