Which of the ‘top six’ Premier League teams have the most favourable fixtures for November?

Dream Team managers will have transfers replenished on 2nd November...

Just a little more patience is required Dream Team gaffers.

This Friday (2nd November) you will be blessed with three shiny new transfers.

No doubt you already have a strategy in mind; who to ditch, who to bring in, etc.

However, make sure you consider the fixtures.

Just couple hundred cigarettes until more transfers!

It sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many Dream Team managers don’t look at the upcoming games before making their changes.

A favourable run can add an extra 50 points to your total.

Allow us to take you through the ‘top six’ teams’ (that’s the actual top five plus Man United) November fixtures…

MAN CITY

  • HOME vs Fulham (EFL Cup)
  • HOME vs Southampton (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Shakhtar Donetsk (Champions League)
  • HOME vs Man United (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs West Ham (Premier League
  • AWAY vs Lyon (Champions League)

Four home games in a row looks appealing, but be aware that Fulham game occurs before transfers are replenished.

Pep Guardiola will be targeting heavy wins over Southampton and West Ham — and they’ll be favourites in the derby too.

City put three past Shakhtar in Ukraine… basically, it looks like a month of goals for the league leaders.

LIVERPOOL

  • AWAY vs Arsenal (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Red Star (Champions League)
  • HOME vs Fulham (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Watford (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs PSG (Champions League)

A tough start and end to the month for the Reds.

Liverpool’s only home game in November could be a massacre — Fulham’s defence is shambolic.

A relatively difficult month for Jurgen Klopp’s men all things considered.

CHELSEA

  • HOME vs Crystal Palace (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs BATE Borisov (Europa League)
  • HOME vs Everton (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Spurs (Premier League)
  • HOME vs PAOK Salonika (Europa League)

Maurzio Sarri should only be concerned by that trip to Wembley for the last league fixture of the month.

The Blues are coasting in their Europa League group with nine points from three games so expect some changes to the first team in that competition in November.

Chelsea are in great form and with Eden Hazard expected to return from injury, there’s plenty of value in picking Stamford Bridge residents.

ARSENAL

  • HOME vs Liverpool (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Sporting CP (Europa League)
  • HOME vs Wolves (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Bournemouth (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Vorskla Poltava (Europa League)

Wolves and Bournemouth are two of the better ‘mid-table’ teams and both are capable of taking points off the Gunners.

It looks as if Arsenal will score a few but clean sheets might be slightly harder to come by.

Same as always then.

SPURS

  • AWAY vs Wolves (Premier League)
  • HOME vs PSV (Champions League)
  • AWAY vs Crystal Palace (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Chelsea (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Inter Milan (Champions League)

Spurs are a fit unit but this looks exhausting.

Expect both PSV and Inter to rise to the occasion when they step foot on the Wembley turf.

Molineux and Selhurst Park are demanding venues too, let alone the derby against Chelsea.

Pick and choose your Spurs players carefully this month.

MAN UNITED

  • AWAY vs Bournemouth (Premier League)
  • AWAY vs Juventus (Champions League)
  • AWAY vs Man City (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Crystal Palace (Premier League)
  • HOME vs Young Boys (Champions League)

We’re still including United in the ‘top six’ bracket because their players are still popular among Dream Team gaffers.

Bournemouth’s red-hot form makes those first three fixtures a seriously tough run.

Trips to Turin and the Etihad could result in minus points galore for David De Gea and the defenders in front of him.

Stay clear.
