There’s only eight teams left at the World Cup and one of them is England.
That’s still sinking in, you know.

And as we reach the promise land of world football, it’s time we gave our fantasy football team one last big makeover before it’s too late.
Luckily for you, we’re here to help you decide which players to pick for that road to the final.
5 Kylian Mbappe – £3.5m
We’re pretty excited for France’s clash with Uruguay on Friday.
The brilliance of Les Bleus’ attack up against the strong back-line of Uruguay will surely be a fascinating affair.
But depspite the excellence of Diego Godin in Uruguay’s defence, we’re tipping Kylian Mbappe to pull off another show-stopping performance against South American opponents for France, following his two-goal hurrah against Argentina.
What’s more, he could be a big player for the French if they manage to reach the final.
4 Fagner – £2.5m
You probably hadn’t heard of this brilliantly-named Brazilian ahead of the tournament, but he’s become a mainstay at full-back for Tite’s side since their second group game.
And he’s been one of their key players in recent outings, getting ahead of Danilo in the pecking-order at right-back and will likely remain a starter for as long as Brazil remain in Russia.
3 Ivan Rakitic – £3.5m
While we’re tempted to go for Luka Modric in Croatia’s team, we believe Barcelona’s play-making genius Rakitic just about edges his Real Madrid counterpart.
We expect Rakitic to be more involved with the goals and we can’t get over how brilliant he’s been in Russia so far.
2 Marouane Fellaini – £2.5m
No, really.
Time and time again, Fellaini has proved his worth to both Belgium and Man United.
And if Roberto Martinez’s men are going to overcome Brazil in the quarter-finals, then they’ll surely need to find a way to win.
That might just mean chucking this guy onto the field, like they did against Japan.
1 Harry Kane – £6.0m
Who else but Harry?
England’s talisman has racked up six goals at the tournament so far and is by-and-large the best player you can pick on fantasy football.
If England are to overcome Sweden and bring it home, then they’ll definitely be calling on this guy to push all the right buttons up front.
