Just imagine if you had stumbled across Rodriguez before the 2014 World Cup?
Here are our picks for the players whose impressive club form might have passed you by…
1 Iago Aspas (£2m)
Aspas has been a shadow of the player we all once saw struggling to take corners at Anfield.
The former Liverpool flop netted 22 times and assisted five goals for Celta Vigo in 34 La Liga appearances last season, and is a huge favourite in Spain.
He was the top Spanish scorer in Europe this season and could actually be preferred to pantomime villain Diego Costa.
2 Edinson Cavani (£5m)
Despite the big-name arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at PSG last summer, the added competition actually brought out the best in Cavani.
The Uruguayan scored 40 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions for the French champions, chipping in with a handy 12 assists too.
Cavani is expected to partner Luis Suarez in a deadly two pronged attack this summer, with the PSG forward the more inform of the pair having outscored the Barcelona man.
3 Nabil Fekir (reported £3m)
Fekir has been one of the best No10s in Europe this season, racking up 18 goals and seven assists in 30 league appearances for Lyon.
The exciting playmaker has been heavily linked with a transfer to Liverpool and will play a key part in France’s attempts to be crowned world champions.
Fekir scored in Les Bleus 2-0 friendly victory over the Republic of Ireland on Monday, further cementing his claim for a starting spot in Russia this summer.
(Note: Fekir will be added to the Dream Team game soon – keep your eyes peeled)
4 Robert Lewandowski (£5.5m)
Lewandowski will captain his country and the hopes of a nation will rest on his shoulders.
The Bayern man is up to task though and has been in red-hot form, scoring 41 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions last season.
With rumours of uncertainty over his future, an excellent World Cup will put Lewandowski in the shop window.

5 Radamel Falcao (£3.5m)
Despite a questionable spell in England with Man United and Chelsea, the Colombian striker has been a prolific striker.
Falcao has continued his impressive record, scoring 24 times and picking up four assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
At 32-years-old, it’s likely be Falcao’s final world cup and he’s guaranteed to want to bow out in style.
6 Raheem Sterling (£4m)
Sterling has been a man reborn under Pep Guardiola and is one of England’s brightest sparks going into the tournament.
The winger had his best scoring season to date, netting 18 times and assisting 15 in 33 Premier League appearances.
If Sterling can carry over his outstanding club form into Russia, then Gareth Southgate will have one of the tournament’s most inform players at his disposal.
7 Timo Werner (£3m)
Werner will have much expectation placed upon him at just 22-years-old, with the striker likely to start as Germany’s lone striker.
The lightening quick forward scored 21 goals and got ten assists in 45 games in all competitions last season for Leipzig.
Werner represented Germany throughout all their youth levels and has impressed in his 12 caps for Joachim Low’s senior side, scoring seven goals.
