Son Heung-min sure does love a goal against Borussia Dortmund, doesn’t he?
The Korean forward’s curled finish late on at the Westfalenstadion wrapped up a decent 2-1 win for Tottenham – and continued his brilliant goalscoring record against the German giants.
And after his strike this evening, Son has now notched an impressive eight goals in 10 matches against BVB, stretching back to his days playing in the Bundesliga.
In fact, the South Korea international has scored more goals against the team in yellow than against any other side.
Now that’s something.
Son has already struck against Dortmund in the Champions League this season, and even scored when Spurs faced them in the Europa League back in 2016.
And he was also their regular nemesis during the several seasons he turned out for Hamburg and Leverkusen.
And after scoring the decisive goal this evening – which ended Dortmund’s slim hopes of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League – they must truly be sick of the sight of him.
Spurs fans though?
They absolutely love ‘im.
