It’s been a struggle, but Premier League football is finally back again.
More importantly, it’s the return of Dream Team, and a chance to make the all important substitutions as we head into a busy Premier League period.
But if you’re strapped for cash, where better to look than Chelsea’s stand-in striker Michy Batshuayi?
The Batsman is an absolute steal at £4.0m after the injury to Blues team-mate Alvaro Morata, and here’s why.
The Belgian has hit some form for both club and country in seemingly every competition other than the Premier League, but this weekend he is expecting to start in place of Morata.
Why Michy Batshuayi is a bargain buy
- Only £4.0m on Dream Team
- Scored 51 points this season
- Seventh highest scoring striker on the game
- Should start in place of Alvaro Morata
You’ve got the tools required to pick a superstar Dream Team, but Homebase is the place for you pick up the tools you need to get the job done at the lowest prices…
Batshuayi has scored 51 points so far this Dream Team campaign, making him the seventh highest scoring striker in the 2017/18 season game.
He followed up a Champions League brace against Qarabag with a Carabao Cup hat-trick against Nottingham Forest, before bagging a vital late goal against Atletico Madrid in the Blues’ second European fixture.
But he hasn’t been able to recreate that form in the Premier League, where he has been given limited opportunities by Antonio Conte.
We’ve seen serious movement in the Batshuayi market this week, with the 24-year-old picking up an influx of transfers from Dream Team players hoping he will deliver the goods in place of Chelsea’s first choice striker.
So will this weekend be his time to shine? The West London club take on Crystal Palace, who you won’t need reminding are on a truly dreadful run of Premier League form so far this season.
It could be a hatful for Batshuayi, but will he be in your Dream Team?
Philippe Coutinho or Henrikh Mkhitaryan? Why not both?
