Spurs will organise an open-top bus parade after Harry Kane was crowned the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot winner.
Plans are underway to celebrate Spurs’ first piece of silverware since the League Cup triumph in 2008.
The parade will go past Spurs’ old stadium and then stop off at the iconic Tottenham bottle factory before ending up in Bury to see where Kieran Trippier, the best right-back in the world, grew up.
Lee Satchell, who’s been given the task of organising the parade, said: “This is a big middle finger to anyone who said we don’t win anything at Spurs.
“The World Cup Golden Boot. World. Cup. Golden. Boot. Does it get any bigger than that? Of course not.
“Has an Arsenal player ever won one? Nope. Harry’s done us all proud. He’s undoubtedly the best English goalscorer since Jermain Defoe.
“Everyone’s welcome, unless they’re from Madrid in which case they will be placed in handcuffs and returned to Spain immediately.
“Don’t worry, there’s going to be an accompanying DVD for all the fans who can’t make it.
“It’s going to be a great day. The bottle factory is a brilliant sight on a sunny day.
“Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele have been practically living there since they got back from the World Cup.”
