Liverpool are lining up Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal as a January replacement for current goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Jurgen Klopp was reportedly impressed by Carvajal’s save against Barcelona during El Clasico.
Carvajal was sent off for his actions, with Lionel Messi tucking away the resulting penalty, but that hasn’t put Liverpool off.

Unofficial source Lee Satchell explained: “Jurgen went over to Madrid to watch El Clasico straight after the Liverpool game.
“He said he needed some time off in another country after watching Mignolet’s biscuit wrists conceding another key goal.
“Jurgen didn’t go over there on a scouting mission, but he was blown away by Carvajal’s save.
“In all his time at Liverpool he’s never seen one of his keepers make a save like that.
“He said he’s willing to pay whatever it takes to make sure he doesn’t have to play Mignolet in goal anymore.
“Anything will do at this point.
“We tried to explain that Carvajal was a defender and has never played in goal in his life.
“But Jurgen was adamant. You know how scary he gets when he’s angry. There was no way I was going to tell him he was wrong.
“Now we just need to convince Carvajal to go from playing with Cristiano Ronaldo to Alberto Moreno.”
