Jose Mourinho drove all the way to Swansea after hearing that Man City players were playing Oasis in the dressing room to celebrate their win.
The Man United manager was so angry on finding out that City were celebrating in such a disrespectful manner that he took it upon himself to turn up in person to tell them to show respect.
United were 1-0 up against Bournemouth at Old Trafford, but due to City’s earlier kick-off time, Mourinho left before the final whistle.
An unofficial Swansea insider said all he could hear from the away dressing room after the game was Ederson screaming Wonderwall at the top of his lungs before Mourinho burst in.
“My mate who was selling burgers outside Old Trafford said he saw Jose putting the Liberty Stadium into his sat nav before the game had finished,” said Lee Satchell.
“We could hear the City players going mental in their dressing room, which I thought was a bit rich as they’d only beaten Swansea.
“Anyway the next thing I know Mourinho is storming down the tunnel (god knows how he got here so fast), looking absolutely fuming.
“He burst into City’s changing rooms and started shouting at all the players to show some respect to Swansea and that it didn’t matter they were 11-points ahead because they hadn’t won anything and he won the Community Shield two summers ago.
“All I could see was City branded milk cartons flying everywhere.”
