Barcelona have stepped up their interest in Bebe and Eric Djemba-Djemba after completing the signing of Tottenham flop and fellow banter merchant Paulinho.
The Brazilian midfielder – who was voted Spurs’ worst ever player in March of this year – has signed for the Catalan giants for £36m and will be unveiled on Thursday.

Barca are armed with a serious war chest after selling Neymar to PSG for a world record £196m last week.
And, according to extremely credible sources, it appears they’ve now turned their attentions to the former Manchester United duo.
Bebe and Djemba-Djemba have plenty in common with Paulinho having been named alongside him in plenty of ‘Worst Premier League flops of all time’ articles down the years.
“We were blown away but what Paulinho did at Spurs,” Barca’s head of Premier League scouting Lee Satchell told us.
“His two goals in 30 games in 2014/15 can’t be underestimated – that’s a hell of a strike rate – so he seems like the most natural heir to Andres Iniesta and at such a cheap price too.
“Naturally Ernesto Valverde is looking to bolster his attack and both Bebe and Eric Djemba-Djemba really impressed him during their time at Manchester United.
“We can’t understand why nobody else is going after them.”
As well as the ex-Red Devils pair, Barca are also reportedly chasing Jean-Alain Boumsong, Marko Marin and Afonso Alves.
