Arsene Wenger plans to replace Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez with Julio Baptista after watching him play at the Star Sixes.
The former Real Madrid man, who spent a season on loan at Arsenal back in 2006, is now Arsenal’s main transfer target.
An unofficial source, Lee Satchell, confirmed the news and claimed that it’s only a matter of time until the Brazilian signs.

Satchell said: “The gaffer [Wenger] was watching TV waiting for Love Island to come on.
“He’s flicking around the channels, not really concentrating, when he ends up on the Star Sixes highlights.
“Just as he’s tuned in Baptista has gone and stuck one in the top corner from 35-yards.
“I mean it’s proper top corner. Absolutely stunk of top bins.
“Wenger’s called up his scouting department and told them he’s seen the guy to replace Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
“They thought he was joking at first. But then they realised he was being serious. They’re too scared to tell him it was a veteran tournament.
“He was playing against oldies. Even Paul Merson was trotting about. But Wenger had absolutely no idea. He just thought it was a pre-season game.
“Next thing you know he’ll be bringing Yaya Sanogo back to the club.”
