Donald Trump claims Man City’s Etihad Stadium ‘definitely 100% full’

American President Donald Trump has claimed Manchester City's Etihad Stadium was 'definitely 100% full' during their draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

US President Donald Trump has sensationally said Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium was ‘definitely, 100% full’, despite pictures showing evidence against the claim.

The Citizens’ home ground has come under scrutiny in recent times for not being able to fill out the 55,000 capacity, but President Trump said he saw the stadium being ‘at least 100% full’.

He added: “I saw a lot of fans. So many fans. There were fans everywhere, stretching all the way back. It was great.

“It’s just another lie from the mass media to disrupt my great Presidency. Sad!”

However, stadium insider Lee Satchell said reports of a full Etihad were wide of the mark.

He added: “I don’t know what game President Trump was watching, but it certainly wouldn’t be one at the Etihad.

“With his reading of the situation and clearly missing simple things like that, he should pack up the Presidency and becoming a Premier League ref,” Satchell quipped.

“Seriously though, you have to laugh or you’ll cry.”
