Manchester United versus Liverpool is always a lively affair.
And it is set to be even more intense as the Red Devils look to overturn a 2-0 deficit to stay in the Europa League against their fierce rivals.
But the man put in charge of the affair to supposedly ‘control’ it was voted the World Cup’s worst official after a number of controversial decisions in the 2014 World Cup.
Serbian Milorad Mazic earned the unwanted title on website redcardtheref.com after collecting a whopping 87,362 from 110,000 votes cast – a 79.4% landslide.
During the World Cup Mazic officiated Germany versus Portugal, in which he awarded the Germans a contentious penalty before sending off Pepe.
The Iranian Football Federation also filed a complaint to FIFA after the Serbian official’s performance in their match against Argentina.
