The referee turned King of Sass has been one of the main talking points over the last month or so after a number of curious performances.
First there were the audacious dummies during the Merseyside Derby and Tottenham’s win at Southampton after Christmas.

And then there was his decision to send West Ham’s Sofiane Feghouli off against Manchester United.
In fact, five out of Dean’s last six red cards have been overturned.
And it appears that record has come back to bite him as he’s been dropped to the Championship for this weekend’s fixtures:
Dean will take charge of the Yorkshire derby between Barnsley and Leeds United on Saturday instead of a top-flight game.
How is Dean meant to catch the eye if he hasn’t got Premier League audiences to impress?
