Someone at Old Trafford clearly doesn’t know about one of the most infamous cock-ups in Man United history.
Back in 1995/96, the club introduced a grey kit into the mix.
And it led to a huge problem.
United were playing Southampton at the Dell and somehow found themselves 3-0 at half-time.
This is back when the Saints were basically just Matt Le Tissier and ten workhorses.
The United players said that they couldn’t pick out their grey team-mates with the sun shining, leading to it being dubbed ‘the invisible kit’.
They switched to a blue kit and won the second half 1-0, incurring a £10,000 fine in the process.
Two years ago fans voted the grey kit was voted the worst in Man United history.
So why are they bringing it back for next season?
Check out these leaked images of the United’s third kit for 2017/18…
Quite nice, to be fair.
The inclusion of United’s Holy Trinity statue (George Best, Bobby Charlton and Denis Law) is a nice touch but the colour is bound to bring back bad memories for some fans.
