BT Sport have got Richard Dunne in as a Champions League pundit and everyone is laughing their heads off

Richard Dunne is a Champions League pundit everybody.

He is because BT Sport say he is.

He took to the swivel chair, sandwiched deliciously between Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves, for Man City’s Champions League group game against Barcelona on Tuesday night.

Forcing the channel’s entire audience into the biggest collective double-take since Donald Trump said Barack Obama invented ISIS.

Or maybe it was since we saw the Man City teamsheet for the Barca game.

Either way, everybody thought it was really weird.

Rio made it quite clear what he thought about it.

But to be fair to Dunn-o, or Dunne-y, or The Dunne-ster or whatever it is he likes to be called, got his punditry off to a solid start.

You cannot argue with that.

It’s *almost* the saddest story we’ve heard about Richard Dunne in the last 12 months.

But not quite.

Because that’s THIS ONE.
