There’s nothing worse than coming up against an opponent with an incredible team in FIFA 17.
You’re left with no choice but to face them and watch their superior players tear your squad apart.
But that could be a thing of the past.
That’s because one FIFA gamer has noticed that if you forfeit a match before kick off the game does not register this as a loss.
He took the Twitter to show off the glitch in a tweet that has already amassed hundreds of comments.
Now, as we’re all about fair play here, we’re not going to show you how to do it – but search around and you’ll find it pretty quickly.
It’s unclear when the bug made its way on to the game, although some claim it’s been around for the past few months.
One gamer wrote: “Been doing this for a few weeks now. Only works though from opponents kick off, so they have to pause it before the kick off is taken.”
The glitch doesn’t seem to be limited to the Weekend League, either.
One gamer wrote of the FIFA sub-Reddit: “Got people telling me it works in Divs too, which means it’s a game-wide issue.”
Fans are already speculating that it won’t be long before EA discovers the glitch and releases a patch – but for the time being it remains active.
Let’s hope it doesn’t make it’s way on to FIFA 18.
