Ousmane Dembele fuels Manchester United transfer rumours by liking a tweet that confirmed Victor Lindelof’s transfer to United.
The France international endorsed a tweet from the official Champions League account, which reads: “Manchester United have signed Victor Lindelof on a four-year deal from Benfica”.
And on Thursday, the 20-year-old wide-man was at it again, liking Lindelof’s post to the Red Devils’ supporters which read:
“Good morning! So happy, can’t wait to get started at Man United”.
Dembele scored 10 goals and provided 20 assists in 39 games for Borussia Dortmund last season.
He helped Dortmund progress into the Champions League last eight, and win the German Cup last term.
Dembele bagged BVB’s opener in the final against Eintracht Frankfurt, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 67th minute winner from the penalty spot.
And his fine form has seen him with catch the eye of some of European football’s biggest clubs.
However, the Frenchman only signed a five-year deal in the summer after moving from Rennes.
France’s skipper Hugo Lloris claimed that Dembele along with his compatriots Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Lemar could all be sensations in the Premier League.
The Spurs keeper said: “The Premier League is very exciting. All the Premier League clubs have the capacity and the ability to bring the best players in the world.
“In France, we used to have a lot of talented players and it’s true that the new generation are fantastic, but we need to give them time to get the right maturity.
“But as they showed against England, they are ready to compete at the best level. Let’s see what will happen in the Premier League.”
