Inter Milan fans left the stadium ‘for lunch’ on Sunday just 25 minutes into the game in protest as they were defeated at home to Sassuolo.
The Nerazzurri’s season takes another turn as they lose 4 consecutive Serie A games for the first time since February 2012.
As fans walked out, they left behind a banner that read: “You don’t deserve our support, we came to say hello, now we’re off to have lunch.”

Another banner, in support of the sacked Pioli said: “Thank you Mister Pioli, the only Interista ‘actor’ in the middle of a team of unworthy players and a club of cameo roles.”
It comes just days after the sacking of coach Stefano Pioli. Inter have taken just two points in their last eight Serie A games.
Pietro Iemmello scored twice as Sassuolo dented Inter’s hopes of Europa League qualification.
Italian striker Eder pulled one back at 70 minutes but Sassuolo hung on to the win which added another defeat to Inter Milan’s miserable season.
As the Inter fans protest director Piero Ausilio concedes the club are struggling to attract a top coach to replace Pioli.
“I don’t know how we could convince Conte, or anyone, really,” he said.
“We know there are great coaches out there and most of them are under contract.
“We have some ideas, which I will not reveal, but the disadvantage of our place in the table is actually an advantage, because it gives us time to build and get our situation together.”
