MAN United star Chris Smalling’s wedding really is in full flight after pals revealed he and his fiancée will rack up 30,000 air miles tying the knot.
The England defender will make a 10,100 mile round-trip for his stag do in Las Vegas with footie pals in June.
While last week blonde stunner Sam Cooke flew off on an 8,300 mile hen do to Barbados with Page 3 pals and family.
The pair will travel 2,000 miles and back to tie the knot in Italy’s tranquil paradise Lake Como in July – one year after they got engaged.
The Alpine beauty spot is best known as a hideaway for Hollywood superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt as well as pop megastar Madonna.
And to cap off their no-expense-spared celebrations, the happy couple will fly 10,400 miles to honeymoon on the white sandy shores of the Seychelles.
Together they will clock up a mammoth 30,800 miles.
A source said: “Chris is an old romantic and his love for Sam is clearly enough to stretch around the world and then some.
“They’re no strangers to travelling having tackled South East Asia and South America together.
“They’re not interested in just following other footballers by going to Dubai and back – Sam loves photography and seeing the world.
“And she’s had a massive impact on Chris as a person, especially his diet where they’re both vegans.
“So this is their chance to kick-start their lives together with a bang by visiting some of the world’s best destinations.
“Everyone knows weddings can be one of the most stressful periods of anyone’s life.
“Although there’s is lining up to be a marriage made in heavenly holidays.”
Smalling, 27, proposed to Sam, 30, during a trip to Bali last summer.
But the trip was marred when he was rushed to hospital after he collapsed during a severe bout of poisoning and suffered a gruesome gash to his head.
