Sanchez’s contract expires at the end of the season meaning he can join Pep Guardiola’s side for nothing in the summer.

According to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, City have offered Sanchez £13million-a-year with a £30million signing on fee if he leaves Arsenal for nothing in the summer.

The Sun reported today how Sanchez could force through a move before then and sacrifice a possible £25million,which City could then use to pay a fee to Arsenal in this window.

In a tweet Romano wrote: “Manchester City have reached an agreement with Alexis Sanchez for free transfer: wage £13m per year and £30m to Alexis when he’ll sign the contract.”
