Barcelona offered PSG’s Julian Draxler as Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele signings grow more and more unlikely

Julian Draxler has reportedly been offered to Barcelona after he was transfer listed by Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s been claimed that the Germany international has been told to pack his bags by the French side despite only joining in January this year.

But things could turn out OK for Draxler, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that he’s been offered to Barcelona by his agent.

Ironically, Draxler’s bleak PSG future has come about due to the world-record signing of Neymar from Barca.

And now the midfielder could be heading in the opposite direction to replace the Brazilian at the Nou Camp.

Draxler’s agent is apparently aware that the Catalans are struggling to sign either Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho or Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele.

And with Draxler able to play in both positions, he could yet be heading to Spain in a big-money deal before the window slams shut in a fortnight.

Arsenal are said to be interested in bringing Draxler to the Premier League.

But they could yet face competition from Liverpool, who have identified the German as a possible replacement for Coutinho.

However, PSG will not be conned into selling cheap as they look to recoup as much of Draxler’s £40m transfer fee as possible.
