Barcelona have reportedly ended their chase for Marco Verratti, with Juventus forward Pablo Dybala emerging as their new top target.
With speculation surrounding Neymar’s future with the Spanish giants, Ernesto Valverde is keen to bolster his attack ahead of the new term.
After Verratti changed his agent, Barcelona have decided to abandon their pursuit of the 24-year-old midfielder – according to Mundo Deportivo.

The La Liga giants have been heavily linked with Verratti this summer, but the two clubs have been unable to come to an agreement.
Dybala has now been labelled as the Spanish outfit’s top transfer target.
Corriere Dello Sport reported that Barcelona have already seen a bid of around £85m for Dybala swiftly rejected by Juventus.
The Bianconeri have claimed that they will not be entertaining any offers for their talisman this summer.
Juventus have already lost Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci during this transfer window.
Should Neymar decide to leave this summer, Dybala could arrive at the Nou Camp as his replacement.
A move to the Spanish side would see Dybala link-up with Argentina team-mate Lionel Messi.
The 23-year-old scored 19 times in 47 appearances last term, including a brace against the Blaugrana in the Champions League.
Dybala joined the Italian side on a five-year deal for a fee of £35m – including add-ons.
