Neymar ‘agrees’ to €220million PSG deal if Ligue 1 club pay his release clause

Stunning reports claim Brazilian has accepted an offer from Unai Emery's side and will complete world-record move shortly

Stop the world, it’s time to get off.

Reports claim Neymar has agreed to quit Barcelona and join PSG in a world-record €220million move.

Interactive Sport claims the Brazilian has accepted an offer from the French giants and will finalise his move in the coming weeks.

Neymar has been a long-term target for PSG and supposedly came close to joining them last summer.

PSG are confident that the capture of the Brazilian superstar will catapult the club into the stratosphere as they look to win the holy grail of European football – the Champions League.

Emery’s side suffered huge embarrassment in the last campaign when Neymar’s Barca produced a record comeback in the last 16 of the elite competition.

PSG won the first leg at home 4-0 with an incredibly dominant performance.

Would he really give up his role as Messi’s heir?

Neymar is considered by many to be a natural successor to Lionel Messi’s throne at Barcelona.

Once the Messi/Ronaldo apex ages away from superstardom many fancy the Brazilian forward to establish himself as the best player in the world.

Barcelona released a statement saying they are ‘200%’ sure Neymar will be a Barcelona player next season but if rumours are to be believed and he has agreed personal terms then the decision will be out of the club’s hands.

Should the move be confirmed, Neymar is likely to start on the left of an attacking three featuring fellow South Americans Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria.

Incredibly, this move would mean the world record transfer record would increase by over £100million.

Suppose if Kyle Walker is worth £50m…
