Rafa Benitez wants Joe Hart to ease his transfer frustration at Newcastle.
The Toon boss, upset at failing to land summer targets, is set to compete with West Ham for the England keeper, 30, and Watford boss Marco Silva has also made an enquiry.
Hart will be allowed to leave Manchester City for the right price after a loan spell at Torino last season.
Manchester United eyed him as a replacement for David de Gea but the Spaniard’s move to Real Madrid looks off.
Benitez was gutted that City keeper Willy Caballero went to Chelsea while striker target Tammy Abraham is set to be loaned to Swansea by the Blues.
City are interested in Napoli keeper Pepe Reina.
