Bayern Munich want Romelu Lukaku to fire them to Champions League glory next season, according to reports.
The German giants’ interest in Everton’s 25-goal hitman will push Manchester United and Chelsea into a three-way bidding war.
Both Premier League clubs want the Belgium striker, 24, to lead their line when the new campaign kicks off in August.
But the MEN claim Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti is a big admirer of Lukaku and hopes he can help deliver the European trophy to the Allianz Arena.
The report also says the former Chelsea forward’s father, Roger, is keen on his son to join the Bavarian outfit.
Lukaku, who has two years left on his contract, looks likely to leave Goodison Park after rejecting a new £140,000-a-week deal in March.
Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has slapped a £100million price-tag on Lukaku.
And he is determined to hold onto his star man.
Koeman said in March: “You need to have hope in life. The fans love Romelu Lukaku and everyone loves Rom.”
The Dutchman added: “Of course we like to keep best players and we will do the maximum to keep these players.
“But the final decision will be with the player himself.”
