Manchester United are one of a number of teams to send scouts to watch teenage starlet Krepin Diatta, according to his agent.
Youssoupha Fall claims that the 18-year-old is wanted by United, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Marseille.
The Sarpsborg midfielder impressed at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations back in March, helping Senegal reach the final.
The Lions of Teranaga lost in the final but Diatta scored twice in the tournament.
And scouts are now said to be out in South Korea to watch Diatta in the U20 World Cup, where he has started all three games to help Senegal qualify for the knockout stages.
Diatta came through the youth ranks at the Oslo Football Academy.
He has made seven appearances in the Norwegian top flight so far this season – and even scored a hat-trick in the first round of the Norwegian Cup in April.
Sarpsborg, who have grown from a lower league club just 15 years ago, finished sixth last season and are currently third in the division.
United boss Jose Mourinho will be expecting a busy summer.
The futures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David De Gea have to be decided, while the club need reinforcements.
United qualified for the Champions League after winning the Europa League but will be expected to battle on all four fronts next season.
Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Alvaro Morata are considered the top targets, but Mourinho is also chasing defenders.
