Benjamin Mendy will have no shortage of clubs to choose from this summer, if he chooses to leave Monaco.
The 22-year-old full-back has starred during Monaco’s race to the Ligue 1 title last season and the Champions League semi-finals.
And Manchester United and Chelsea have joined Manchester City, Barcelona and Liverpool in the chase for the Frenchman, according to l’Equipe.
The left back has been named in Didier Deschamps’ squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifier with Sweden on June 9, as well as their friendlies with Paraguay on June 2 and England on June 13.
But Mendy appeared to shut down rumours of a switch to either Manchester club, saying “calm down” in a video posted on Twitter.
Like his Monaco team-mate Kylian Mbappe, the full back has been subject of intense interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
And with United and City eager to bolster their squads ahead of an assault on both the Premier League and Champions League, Monaco are braced for another bid on one of their players.
Djibril Sidibe is also a player who has taken the interest of Prem sides, including Arsenal.
The 24-year-old, who plays on the right-hand side of defence has also been included in Deschamps’ squad and English fans can witness him playing first-hand at the Stade de France on June 13.
