Arsene Wenger wants Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
The forward is prepared to quit Stamford Bridge if he is not in Antonio Conte’s first-team squad next season.
Abraham scored 23 Championship goals on loan with struggling Bristol City last season.
Wenger wants to add another young striker at Arsenal and the England Under-21 international is the man he wants at the Emirates.
Abraham has come through the Chelsea youth system.
But he wants assurances that he will be given a chance to force his way into the first-team picture next season.
Despite the intense rivalry between the two clubs, Wenger believes he can convince Abraham to join him the North Londoners.
Arsenal’s manager, desperate to find alternative attacking options, believes the young forward fits the bill.
Should Abraham make the move across London he would become the first player to switch sides directly since the controversial swap deal involving William Gallas and Ashley Cole in 2006.
