Uruguay whizkid Gustavo Viera has been compared to Ronaldo after scoring identical goals to the Brazil legend.
The 16-year-old has been dubbed “Gustaldo” for netting goals like Ronaldo did early in his career.
He plays for Liverpool in Montevideo and his goals for the youth team include a run from the halfway line, where he takes on defenders at the same stage as one of Ronaldo’s for Barcelona.
Footage of his “Ronaldo” goals has seen him tipped to become one of the next South American youngsters to head across to Europe.
Brazilian wonder kid Vinicius Junior, 16, is set to move to Real Madrid from Brazilian side Flamengo for an astonishing £38million.
And clubs are looking to pounce early for the next Neymar or Ronaldo.
Viera is on the radar of European heavyweights after becoming the third youngest player in the Copa Sudamericana, the Europa League of South America.
He came on as a sub for Liverpool at the iconic Maracana during a clash against Fluminense.
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs tracking his progress and will look at trying to get him to the Premier League.
But Barcelona and Juventus have also shown interest in the youngster after his displays for Uruguay’s youth teams.
Viera revealed earlier in the season that his heroes are Didier Drogba and Luis Suarez from watching English football – and he also has ambitions of playing in the Premier League.
