MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has been urged to abandon his pursuit of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann and move for Juventus ace Paulo Dybala instead.
Former Red Devil Owen Hargreaves believes his old side need a star name to arrive at Old Trafford this summer following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long-term injury.
Manchester United have been urged to make Paulo Dybala their marquee signing this summer
And rather than sign Griezmann, who has been strongly linked with United, Hargreaves reckons Mourinho would be better off landing Dybala – even though he’s just signed a new contract.
Hargreaves told BT Sport: “You have to look at what you have and what you desperately need, I think they need a Dybala-type player.
“Everybody speaks about Griezmann, I think Griezmann would be terrific. But I think Dybala, he’s a little bit younger, he’s going to be a superstar if he isn’t already.
