Sir Alex Ferguson has lost two managerial records and one is to Arsene Wenger
Sir Alex Ferguson will go down as one of the greatest managers ever but Arsene Wenger has taken one record from his illustrious career.
The Manchester United legend in fact lost two records on Wednesday evening with Carlo Ancelotti being the other predecessor.
One record, which Ancelotti claimed, is managing the most matches in the Champions League knockout stages.
Whilst Wenger, who is wanted out by Arsenal fans, has now spent more seasons in the Champions League knockout stages.

Although Wenger overtook his former rival manager, it was a pretty miserable night for the Gunners boss.
Because as his side flopped at the Allianz Arena, it meant they didn’t just lose to Bayern Munich but they also lost to Ancelotti’s XI.
Meaning Ancelotti is the real winner as he picked up a sensational win over Arsenal and exceeded Fergie’s record.
