While Arsenal’s men huffed and puffed at Norwich, their women were showing them how to do it.
And by women we really mean one woman in particular.
Vivianne Miedema has cemented herself as one of the best players on the planet this season.

But her display in the 11-1 battering of Bristol City Women on Sunday was almost beyond human description.
With Arsenal leading 10-0 at the time of her substitution late on, Miedema had been involved in every single goal.
The Dutch striker hit six goals and four assists in the rout in what you could reasonably argue was the greatest individual footballing performance of all time.
Bristol City are bad yes, still looking for their first victory of the season with eight games played, but Miedema was next level for the 70 minutes she was on the pitch.
To put her exploits into some context, that’s a goal contribution every 10 MINUTES.
Hypothetically her six goals, four assists, hat-trick, inevitable 7+ rating and Star Man (Woman) award would have bagged her a massive 51 points had she been on Dream Team.
Miedema is a phenomenon, already holding the Netherlands goalscoring record with 69 at the age of just 23.
Last season she bagged 22 goals in the Women’s Super League and was named PFA Player of the Year.
Her double hat-trick today means she already has 10 this season, so that tally looks well within her reach.
The previous record for a WSL game was five goal contributions held by, you guessed it, Miedema herself when she ran Liverpool ragged in September 2018.
She’s like the female answer to Pele, except she hasn’t fabricated any of her numbers.
Not bad Vivianne, not bad at all.
