This is a picture book goal.
A thwack to end all thwacks.
Paul Scholes made it his signature move during his Man United heyday, the sumptuous first time volley direct from a corner.
But Jack Grealish produced a pretty decent imitation of the United great against Derby today.
Grealish was making his first appearance since mid-December after being hampered by a shin injury.
He was even handed the Aston Villa captain’s armband for the first time by manager Dean Smith.
And what a way to mark it. Simply sit back and enjoy this:
Grealish is very much seen as the poster boy at Villa Park now and his injury has coincided with some torrid form.
Villa slipped way out of the Championship promotion picture, winning just two of their 13 games in his absence.
So it was no massive shock to see Grealish inspire a thumping 4-0 win over Derby in what was surely their best performance of the season.
That volley will be on repeat for a while…
